what's the most difficult part of your writing process? are you a plot-planning-hater? an editing-avoider?
plot and editing comes very easily to me, as i mainly write oneshots and my fics often don't breach over 1K words 😅
my most difficult part of my writing process is conveying the plot, story, undertones, etc., in the way i imagine it going in my head. i "envision" scenes as you would a movie. or show, so i have to translate it from visual action to words that shows the scene correctly.
...this is making me realize i should start screenwriting again.
#i put envision in quotations because i'm pretty sure i have aphantasia#which basically means i can't imagine images in my brain#it's more like. a general feeling of what happens?#i more rely on the imaginary sounds that would accompany the scene#like if someones fighting with a sword there'll be metal clanging and heavy breathing etc etc#answering asks#anon ask#nwod ask bomb#...am i supposed to tag that??#oh well#ty anon!
